Buy Back Policy

1. Scope of This Policy

This Buy Back Policy applies to vehicles purchased from Rava Cars LTD online or by phone (i.e. "at a distance"), where you have not inspected the vehicle in person prior to purchase. It sets out your statutory right to cancel and the conditions of our 14-day guarantee.

2. Your Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 calendar days, starting from the day you (or someone you nominate) receives the vehicle, without giving any reason.

3. How to Cancel

To exercise your right to cancel, notify us in writing within the 14-day period by emailing sarahmanagerservice08@gmail.com, quoting your order reference and the vehicle's registration number. We will confirm receipt of your cancellation notice in writing.

4. Returning the Vehicle

• The vehicle must be returned in substantially the same condition as when delivered, subject to reasonable use to inspect and test it, as you would be permitted in a shop.
• We will arrange collection, or advise you on returning the vehicle to us, at reasonable cost.
• Any excess mileage, damage, or unauthorised modifications beyond what is necessary to inspect the vehicle may result in a deduction from your refund to reflect the diminished value, in line with UK Trading Standards guidance.
• Vehicles must be returned with all original documentation, keys and accessories supplied at delivery.

5. Refunds

Once the returned vehicle has been received and inspected, we will process your refund, less any permitted deduction for diminished value, within 14 days of receiving the vehicle back (we aim to process most refunds within 3–5 working days). Refunds are issued to your original payment method.

6. Exclusions

The right to cancel does not apply in the same way to vehicles inspected and purchased in person, where no distance-selling cancellation right arises. Vehicles that have been substantially modified, involved in an accident while in your possession, or used beyond what is necessary to establish their nature and function, may not qualify for a full refund under this policy.

7. Your Statutory Rights

This policy is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including your right to a vehicle that is as described, of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose. See also our Warranty and 14-Day Buy Back Guarantee pages.
